IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Membership validity: The first-year membership is valid for 12 months from day of activation and onboarding .
- Emergency response: DrRing provides emergency response coordination and assistance. It does not replace emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, a doctor’s consultation or health insurance.
- Ambulance support: Ambulance assistance is available for eligible medical emergencies, subject to the plan’s annual benefit limit, medical requirement, ambulance availability, service area and applicable partner terms.
- Additional ambulance requirements: Any ambulance service beyond the covered annual benefit, or services outside the applicable plan coverage, may be provided at prevailing/partner charges.
- Hospital services: Hospital consultation, admission, treatment, investigations, medicines and hospitalization expenses are not included in the ₹12,000 membership unless specifically stated in writing.
- Geographic coverage: Emergency response is available within the designated service area/network of DrRing and its participating Hospital partners.
- Connectivity: Response depends on availability of mobile network, Location and BLE, device connectivity, power/battery and the DrRing platform. DrRing will make reasonable efforts to respond to every valid SOS received by the system.
- False or accidental alerts: Members should promptly inform the response team if an SOS is triggered accidentally. Repeated misuse or intentional false alerts may be subject to review under the membership terms.
- Device: The DrRing device remains the member’s property. Loss, physical damage, misuse or replacement of the device may attract applicable charges.
- Medical information: Members should keep their emergency and medical information updated so that the response team can provide more effective assistance.
- Renewal: The membership must be renewed before expiry to continue covered Medical Emergency Response services. Renewal pricing may be revised in the future with prior communication.
- Service limitations: Response times may vary depending on location, traffic, network availability, ambulance availability, severity of emergency and other circumstances beyond DrRing’s reasonable control.
- No guarantee of medical outcome: DrRing and its partners facilitate emergency response and coordination but cannot guarantee a particular medical outcome, treatment result or response time.
- Privacy: Personal and medical information will be handled in accordance with DrRing’s applicable privacy policy and used for providing emergency response and related services.
